The screen is in good cosmetic condition with minimal wear. The back of the unit is in good condition with no heavy wear. The buttons have been cleaned and are in good condition. The joysticks have been cleaned and are in good condition. The charge port is clean and in great condition. The battery compartment is clean and in good condition. Functionality condition:

The LCD has been tested and is fully functional with a clean image. The buttons have been tested and are fully functional with no issues. The joysticks have been tested and are fully functional with no drift or issues. The clamshell hinges ARE loose, so the device is either fully open or fully closed and the hinges do not provide resistance in opening and closing as they once did. We tested the consoles with multiple games and runs perfectly.

 The WiFi has been tested and is fully functional, however, the Nintendo DS connects to 802.11b (2.4GHz only), and only supports WEP encryption — not WPA or WPA2

This was not as restrictive during the early life of the Nintendo DS, but you will want to ensure your WiFi's compatibility with the ds if you plan to use it online.
